Had an amazing experience earlier in the week so had to return with family for a birthday celebration. Another faultless experience at Butt Karahi. Both the Desi Chicken Karahi (Organic) and Maash Daal Fry were fresh and cooked to perfection. The naans were warm and soft. The green chutney was extremely moreish and the drinks rounded off an amazingly faultless meal. Everything tasted as good as it does in Pakistan!
The staff were also super welcoming, attentive and friendly. The ambience was amazing (very clean).
10/10 experience and definitely will be visiting often.

Then came the Lamb Karahi Butt Special and I was blown away by the melt in your mouth lamb, the flavour was sooo good, and definitely so light that you would want more and more.
I’ll definitely be back again. Thank you everyone at Butt Karahi ❤️- Meal type

Absolutely fantastic spot. Best curry I've had in a while. All the dishes really cooked to perfection and really interesting spicing and flavours. Mixed grill was superb. Chapli kebab was a masterpiece. Service was fantastic, really friendly and welcoming. And good value, not sure why are other reviewers are saying it is expensive. You get what you pay for. We will be back

Butt Karahi truly feels like heaven for Pakistani people living here. In this country, we often miss the authentic taste of home, and this place brings it back perfectly. The flavors, the warmth, and the hospitality make you feel like you’re back in Pakistan. Special thanks to Chef Hafiz and the amazing staff for giving us that feeling of home.

Went as a family and ordered 1kg butt special karahi and a mixed grill with fries.
The mixed grill was absolutely delicious, with a lovely chargrilled flavour on all the meat/chicken. It had 3 lamb chops, some meat and chicken tikka and a couple of niblets.
The karahi was flavoursome but lacked a tiny bit of salt which when added, tasted absolutely delicious. It was tasty but mild and suitable for children who may not be able to tolerate too much spice. For us with children it was perfect.
The large naans are plenty big and you can always order more to the table if and when required.
The decor is nice and toilet facilities clean. Staff are nice enough. They have a designated prayer area upstairs which is always a bonus.

The service was nothing short of amazing—staff were attentive, friendly, and even made sure our kids were comfortable.
The food exceeded our expectations. We ordered the small BBQ, which was surprisingly large, packed with flavor, and perfectly moist. The rice that came with it was also delicious and complemented the BBQ wonderfully.
The chicken curry was a standout—rich, buttery, and incredibly juicy, even better than homemade!
We also tried the lemon drink, which was nice but lacked a bit of punch. Without us even mentioning it, the staff brought us a new drink on the house and honestly it was so refreshing and tasty , which was a lovely touch and showed their commitment to great service.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we can't wait to return with the rest of the family, it truly tasted like we were in Lahore.- Service

Amazing experience today at Butt Karahi on Ladypool road. We ordered a lamb karahi and mix grill platter. It was fresh and delicious lovely charcoal taste with authentic flavours. In my opinion it’s better than the one in Pakistan by miles! Well worth the money and if they continue to keep this level of standard they will never be out of business. A big thank you from the Hussain’s see you again!

It was weekend evening so place was houseful, we had to wait 45 mins for the table.
Staff was friendly and trying best to accommodate everyone.
After sitting food arrived in 20-30 mins.
We ordered:
-Lamb Karahi with butter
-Desi Chicken with butter
-Mixed grill (Small)
-Mint margarita
-Jug of sweet lassi
Food was really amazing and was piping hot. Mixed grill was okay but they serve it with pulao rice which is good.
Mutton and desi chicken were star of the show and they give you nostalgic feeling of Lakshmi chowk the birth place of real Butt Karahi.
Damage was £120 for 5 persons.

Absolutely amazing service by Owais and Qurat. Both were so polite and so helpful and calmly managed and co-ordinated the whole event. We had a party of 25 people, food was amazing and on time. Would highly recommend Butt Karahi. We had ordered the BBQ Platters and Lamb Karahi. All fresh and hot.

I’m not quite so sure why the rearing for this place is so low. I’m a huge critic of food and am not easily satisfied, but from seating to leaving this was a great experience. We were seated and had our food on the table within 20 mins. Saboor was one of the kindest hosts I’ve ever encountered. I will be coming here a lot more regularly as the food is as authentic as they come.
